Executive Assistant


Nu-West Construction Products, an established progressive distributor of quality construction products in Western Canada is looking for a key individual to help in our Corporate office.


Responsibilities



  • Use superior interpersonal skills for the purposes of correspondence development and fielding and delivering communication (Phone, voicemail, email and mail) Follow-up as necessary while ensuring confidentiality, timeliness, consistency and accuracy

  • Research, maintain and relay information for management team as assigned.

  • Works with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projects. Duties include coordinating schedules and activities, placing orders for supplies and services, and tracking progress and results

  • Coordinate and maintain executive appointments and schedules including periodic leadership meeting schedules, meeting locations, meeting resources and travel arrangements.

  • As assigned, develop and distribute administrative communication, periodic management reports, business correspondence and presentation report production.

  • Develop and maintain publications for format, appearance and attachments.

  • Maintain and organize business trade articles, publications, folders and files.

  • Word processing, spreadsheet development and various clerical responsibilities. Cooperate with corporate administrative staff and share office support duties.

  • Maintain and manage President/CEO's expense reports.

  • Other duties as assigned which may include travel requirements.


Experience



  • A certificate/diploma in business administration or related field

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in office administration

  • Strong computer skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels of internal and external customers

  • Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize


Salary
Negotiable, based upon experience
